The First Ever Social Graph For Happiness: People from around the world define their own unique Happiness Molecule according to their profiles, and Happybility is mapping them on a Social Graph For Happiness. We have to say that the stats are very surprising….

We are all asking ourselves once in a while: Would I be happier if I lived in another country and witch one is the best for me? Our Data is based on about 50,000 people from around the world, and it keeps on growing.

So which country is the best in general? Is it the USA?

USA Happiness Index is only 5.3 which means- Fine.

Germany Happiness index however is much higher: 7.8, and Denmark is in second place with a Happiness Index of: 7.3

Here are the best countries to live in according to their Happybility happiness index:

But you can see that the data changes dramatically when you look at different profiles of various people. If we analyze the data according to certain perimeters like women/men/singles/married/divorced, with or without kids and how many/ occupation field/ income level and more...we will be surprised.

For example, we can see that married women from England are a lot happier than married women from the USA and the reason for that is very surprising…

The overwhelming factor in Germany that causes the happiness index to be high is the career happiness index, the economic situation, health, location and life's routine!

We can mainly see that married men aged 40 and more are getting happier as they age, while women maintain a solid level of happiness throughout their life, in earlier age their happiness is derived from a satisfying love life and later in life from their career and their self-fulfillment

In Denmark and Australia on the other hand women are mainly happier from their love life (also in England and France) and from their family - mostly in Australia.

In Denmark men aged 25-35 are less happy in general but the older they get the happier they become.

What about the USA?

It's surprising but the USA isn't necessarily the best place to live in, as we have seen there are several states in Europe where the Happiness Index is higher than the U.S., however within the USA you can find states like Massachusetts - where the Happiness Index of the state is higher than some other countries in Europe, unlike Connecticut where people there are reporting a low level of happiness. So why is it that the Happiness Index in the U.S. Is relatively low. Beyond the natural heterogeneous between the states - you can see how different aspects of life affect the overall happiness of the people: for example- the social life is lacking in most parts of the U.S., people tend to feel socially isolated and lonely.

On the other hand there are states like Mississippi where their Social Happiness Index is above grade seven (which is awesome).

There are areas where the Family Happiness Index is extremely low while there are states where if you have a family you'll be happy there - so it would be better for you if you moved there.

What's important to understand from the date is that not everything that's right for a U.S. Citizen is right for someone who lives on Germany or Denmark.

Not everything that makes you happy will make others happy as well. We each have our own preferences, our own profiles and our own dreams.

The Happiness Index for a Single U.S. Citizen in comparison to the overall happiness in the USA.

So the trusted answer to: Would I be happier if I lived in another country and witch one is the best for me, it's personalized. It depends on your profile: Gender, age, married status, job, salary and much more…

Rate your Happiness Molecule and compare yourself to your neighbors, friends and people your age, status and more… It is vital to understand how the different profile properties change the entire picture.

What's good for families does not necessarily suits singles!

What could be the most important thing to one person, may not be so important to you!

Yes, you can see where people earn more money, where are the best salaries in your profession, or where in general people are happier, but in order to compare yourself to the rights people, we advise you to download the Happybility app and be a part of the survey, talk anonymously with other users and realize why are they happy or not.
